Where is Karjaa located? |
Karjaa is located in the western part of the county of Uusimaa (Nyland in Swedish), about 70 km west of Helsinki. The distance to the city of Turku is about 100 km by car (north west of Karjaa) and the distance to the town of Tammisaari (Ekenäs) is about 20 km and to Hanko (Hangö) about 50 km (south west of Karjaa). To the north east you will find the town of Lohja (Lojo) at a distance of 30 km from Karjaa. It’s easy to visit Karjaa ! By train you can reach Karjaa within about one hour from Helsinki and Turku and within half an hour from Salo. By local trains you can travel further to Tammisaari and Hanko and by bus you can visit the neighbouring villages, as well as Helsinki. |
